This is critical: most EVs cannot be towed with their drive wheels on the ground. Unlike conventional vehicles, EVs regenerate electricity when the wheels turn, and towing with drive wheels down can damage the motor, transmission, or battery management system. Most manufacturers (Tesla, Rivian, Ford F-150 Lightning, Hyundai Ioniq) require flatbed towing only.
